The East Tennessean's recent shameless plug for campus sponsored escort services and the ETSU administration's silent consent of such is nothing short of deplorable. Not only is prostitution illegal under Tennessee state law, any who engage in such acts are morally bankrupt. The Bible specifically touts the evils of sexual solicitation (see "Jesus 25:17").
It really speaks volumes of the moral turpitude inherent in young people today when a once-respected periodical stoops to the level of purveying cheap smut and easy laughs. This shameless practice of body profiteering via helpless student workers is an affront to all things holy in our society. I weep for the future tears of divine moral anguish. You should be ashamed.
