Music festival to benefit green energy sources

Concert won't be held this fall due to last year's deficit

Music on the Mountain is all original, groundbreaking music festival in Boone, N.C., with the majority of our proceeds benefiting NC GreenPower, Appalachian State University Energy Center and the High Country Conservancy.
Music on the Mountain is a one-day event on Aug. 23, offering a full day of the best music offered today.
The eclectic blend of blue grass and Americana-soul will guarantee the listeners a plethora of feel good, move around music.  
Tickets can be bought online ($35-40) at Musiconthemountain.net or at the gate ($40-45). Gates open at 10 a.m.
