For every miserable girl who's searching for a man and fails time and time again when it comes to relationships, the movie for you is now in theaters.
"He's Just Not That Into You," a novel by Greg Behrendt, made its debut on the big screen this past Friday, Feb. 6, and since then has grossed more than $10 million.
Of course the majority of the viewers were women. Sitting in the back row of the crowded movie theater, I only spotted two men
The reason why this is so, is simply this: Women want to know how to make relationships work, and they hoped in purchasing a movie ticket, a film could tell them how to do it.
"He's Just Not That Into You" follows the story of various men and women as they confront their relationship problems head on and the aftermath that follows.
The cast includes Drew Barrymore, Ben Affleck, Jennifer Aniston, Scarlett Johansson and Justin Long, along with many others.
In the film, Gigi ( played by Ginnifer Goodwin) is constantly getting rejected by guys; the only problem is that she doesn't know it. It takes character, Alex (Long), to talk her through the steps to tell if a guy really is into you. Long delivers a great performance in this movie and plays the typical guy.
He doesn't sugarcoat anything and tells it like it is: "If a guy wants to date you, he WILL date you."
The character Mary (Aniston) in the film is stuck in a seven-year relationship with Neil who does not want to propose and sees marriage as something that's unnecessary.
While on the flip side, Janine (Jennifer Connelly) is trying to salvage her marriage that was "forced" according to her husband Ben (Bradley Cooper).
While all of this is going on, Barrymore's character Mary is getting rejected by all kinds of guys and Johansson's character Anna is acting like the token "slut" of the movie and seducing a married man. All of this is happening while in between situations the filmmakers shoot everyday people giving advice on love and relationships.

It's actually a pretty good movie. A bit better than I thought it would be.
