Issue date: 2/26/09 Section: The Scene
"Obama's War: Liberal Interventionism in the Age of Obama" will be addressed by Justin Raimondo, editorial director of Antiwar.com, in a free public lecture at East Tennessee State University next Wednesday, March 4, at 6 p.m. in the D.P. Culp University Center's Martha Street Culp Auditorium.

The Web site offers late-breaking news coverage and analysis on major world conflicts, with emphasis on the United States' role. It not only provides links to articles from outside news agencies, but also features its own columnists and journalists stationed in various areas of conflict.
Raimondo is a contributing writer for The American Conservative and an adjunct scholar with the Ludwig von Mises Institute in Auburn, Ala.
His writings include "An Enemy of the State: The Life of Murray N. Rothbard" (2000); "Into the Bosnian Quagmire: The Case Against U.S. Intervention in the Balkans" (1996); "Reclaiming the American Right: The Lost Legacy of the Conservative Movement" (1993) and numerous articles for newspapers and magazines, including the Los Angeles Times, New York Times and Chronicles magazine.
A frequent speaker on college campuses and at national events, he was also keynote speaker at the 2000 Reform Party Convention and the Illinois State Libertarian Party Convention.
His campus appearance is sponsored by Students of American Liberty (SAL), an ETSU student organization, the ETSU BUC (Better University Community) Fund and Student Government Association, and the Libertarian Party of Tennessee.
