Big Fall Show to feature TenBucsWorth, Priceless Ladies

This year's performances, Friday, Oct. 30, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 1, at 3 p.m. in ETSU's D.P. Culp Auditorium, feature three new groups, as well as the ETSU Chorale and men's vocal group TenBucsWorth.
Proceeds from the annual concert help the ETSU Chorale raise funds for its international concert tours.
Last year the Chorale traveled to France and Spain, where the group performed in major cathedrals in Paris, Toledo and Madrid.
TenBucsWorth will perform well-known traditional southern gospel music made famous by groups such as the Gaither Vocal Band and Signature Sound.
In addition to gospel favorites such as "Oh, What a Time" and "Swing Down, Chariot," the men's ensemble will perform songs made popular by the group Il Divo, including "Unchained Melody" and "You Raise Me Up."
TenBucsWorth will be joined by three new women's groups formed this fall.
The Priceless Ladies, consisting of five singer-dancers, will perform hits by Aretha Franklin and Tina Turner including "R.E.P.E.C.T" and "Proud Mary." These fully choreographed and staged numbers will be accompanied by an instrumental jazz ensemble of ETSU students, with choreography by Beverly Wiginton.
Two other new women's groups will add to the program: the ETSU Sweet Adelines performing in traditional barbershop style, and the Sassy Lassies, a Celtic women's group.
A tradition of the Big Fall Show is a performance by the ETSU Chorale Bluegrass Band. This ensemble, composed of members of the Chorale who also happen to accomplished bluegrass performers, is always a highlight of the Big Fall Show.
The entire 80-voice ETSU Chorale will conclude the concert with a medley of American patriotic songs and spirituals including "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot."
